These jeans are super cool. I can think of no other way to say it. They are punk and edgy, but can be toned down fairly easily. The black leather ones are my favorite. If coated jeans are a new lifeform for you, here is a heads up so you don't think I'm any more phsychotic than you already do (hehe) Well, coated jeans are jeans that are less stretchy than leggings, but tighter than jeans. They are shiny and metalic like leather, without the complete and total discomfort. You see them alot on celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Heidi Klum. You can wear the black ones with a floral top, or polka dotted tank top. The red ones with a chambray (denim) top and ballet flats. :)

October First, BlackWhite Blouse

I love this blouse! The black-white effect is polished and cool. Pair this with red jeans or black pants and flats or a sleek boot (NO UGGS!) This can be dressed up or down....up with lots of bangles and red caoted jeans and heels (or fancy shmancy flats) or down with black leggings and colorful flats! Today I wore a silk tribal top, kind of like this one... but in pink.

With leggings, silver flats, and a bangle. This is one of my favorite outfits, always gets lots of compliments!

Dear Diana...

Dear Diana,
I pulled these items up per your request. Both from Forever 21....uber sassy and totally chic, these pieces are colorful and fun, but also mature. The cutout backing of the fuscia top adds a flirty, cute twist to this button down. The color is pretty and playful....it also came in black and in white. The patterned jeans are a toned-down sexy....the grey makes it a little les noticeable, and more flattering on the waist and thighs. Who doesnt love a cute, playful outfit? Just a few weeks ago, I was in /new York City, shopping in super expensive vintage boutiques. Not planning on buying anything, i was wandering around taking pictures of the the clothes. I saw lots of fur, leather, feathers, and animal print. HAIR: swooped to one side JEWLERY: gold bangles, or maybe a dun black necklace. SHOES: no Uggs, combat boots, Sperrys, and flats. MAKEUP: a cute cat-eye. dont be afraid to branch out in makeup. try a green or light blue eyeshadow or liner. Go for that pink mascara that you want dont dont think you should buy. We only have so many years to experiment with makeup....once you get older, it looks less pretty. Happy Shopping!

With fall comes leaves...with Autumn come the Grammys!

Who saw the Grammys tonight? Well, me being me, of course I did. All. Of. It. Miranda Kerr, Julianna Hough, Hailee Seinfeld. There were georgeous flowing gowns and beaded cocktail dresses.

Heres a link where you can see it all, too! Here were my top 5 faves....rate them in the comment box!

Kate Mara looks so pretty in this Oscar De Laurenta Gown. Her side-swept hair adds a cute, flirty twist, and the sheer, feminine color is sweet. I love the beading and little ruffles and fringes....it gives character. Definately my number one!

Okay, so maybe she failed in the "make a nice face for the camera department" and her Miley Cirus hack job on her hair doesnt look great, but the dress is stunning. The black lcve and tool emellishments are so edgy and chic at the same time. Number two on the list!

Jessica Pare's dress is very simple, yet so classy. She added the black clutch, with her timeless black bob, and red lips- bold and so, so perfect. At any time this look is so chic. Elegant. Pretty. Sexy. Number three!

Diamonds and Pearls and Rubies- Oh, My!

Fall is a time where lots of our color goes into hibernation. Pack away pastel blouses and neon shorts. Now, its all about dark colors- coffee brown, cranberry, navy, black, red, dark green. Lots of times, last year's fall stuff either doent fit us or we dont really like it very much. In this case, buy a few pairs of dark tops and jeans. You can incorporate color into dark pants or a sweater. Also, use jewlery to change up outfits.
Today, I wore a light wash denim button-down with poppy-colored jeans, and ivory oxford flats. I pulled my hair into a bun and used a checkered hair wrap. Next week, I could wear the same outfit, but totally differently. I could have a pair of boots, with a brown belt, the top tucked in to the jeans with my hair down and with a dark denim blazer. See? Same components, different outerwear and accsesories!

What's Hot Now...

Top Ten Fall Must-Haves! 1. Peter-pan collars 2. Pearl, jewel, etc. embellishments 3. Blue eyeliner or mascara 4. Dark red lipstick (for a more youthful look while still matching the fall runways,go for a reddish gloss) 5. Metallic jeans 6. Strappy shoes 7. Low-backed dresses 8. Using colors and neons instead of black and grey 9. Pretty encrusted or embellished hair clips 10. Crown and twist braids (such as fishtail or rollup-bun) Top Ten Fall DO NOTS! 1. (The Sloppy Look). Last season, it was all about the big sneakers and baggy pants with boyfriend sweaters. But, times have changed and so has the "now look". Now, everybody is "pulling an outfit together" with a belt or adding a bright blazer or embellished cardi. No more sweats, girls! But, no need to make a wardrobe change for this season's preppy, pulled-together look. Buy a few belts and blazers, some (DARK, NON-RIPPED SKINNY) jeans. The perfect way to turn a sloppy outfit of jeans with a white tee-shirt to something chic and pretty is right here. Tuck the tee into your jeans (pull it out just a smidgen), pull through a neon belt, and add a bright necklace or blazer. UGGs are sorta part of the sloppy fashion, but since they are very expensive, here's a way to keep them "in": get a dress you wore in the summer or just one of your winter dresses. Add a longsleeve shirt underneath (if you want. If the dress is summery, please dont just wear a summery dress and a cardi in the winter. add the shrt underneath. If you have questions, email me pictures at dina.daly@yahoo.com)Add some wool tights ans slip on those UGGs, baby. Pull your hair into a crown braided bun. BAM! instant turing a summer dress into winter layering chic, AND using UGGs again this season! One, two, three, you. are. welcome.
